Good morning all!

I have a question for the experienced bird shippers. 17 bantam cochins that would have to be shipped.... From PA to FL. Anyone have an idea n how many boxes or cost?

Sad today. I let my RIR's out ot range yesterday. They decided to investigate the pig pen. The pigs caught and ate one of them. I saw the pigs chasing them because we were building a transport pen to take them to butcher. I went running (not that I know what I could have done), but it was too late by the time I got there. The others escaped. These were by far my favorite chicks.

Looks like I missed a ton of good swapping last night. I just have to keep reminding myself I am broke...I have a ton of chicks coming...I don't need to claim more......Yeah right! I am running 3 incubators right now!! I think it is an addiction!! But I am going on vacation so no more claiming until April.

I have some bantam cochins available, black, blue, mottled, buff, 1 white cockerel from a calico pen. I am willing to deliver anywhere along my route. I have a SFH cockerel available, a blue barred rock cockerel, 2 Kentucky speck roosters, and probably a few more I am not thinking of right now. If interested in any please PM me. Oh I have a bantam light brahma pullet as well.

Any LF Roo's you just want find a home for i would be happy to take to our farm and add to the band of roaming rooster that live there.

Lets say two roosters at 3 pounds each, and 14 hens at 2 pounds each... So a total of 34+ lbs of chickenness

I re did my serama pens again to 3 pens with 5 hens each and 1 roo, any less and the roo;s abuse the hens too much!!
