Hi all

I am in desperate need of a bantam black amer. roo for my chocolate project. My retired sho roo Fred is not doing his job and the girls are laying. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

I however think I'm in trouble cause I just bought 4 emu eggs off eBay. My Fiance is gonna murder me. I needed 4 though chicken math applies to emus as well right? I might get 2 to hatch now.

55 days of not being able to candle, not knowing and LOTS of waiting to see if they ever hatch. We have 3 Emu in a brinsea eco 20 as to not screw with the temps of the cabinets and all the eggs set in them.

My back in killing me. Did something to it yesterday and now my lower back is a wreck. Gonna go crip through chores and come back to a heat pad and the laptop for the morning

Congrats! I am thinking if I can save up enough for fencing and a shelter for them, my husband might actually be interested in them. I think I would put them out front, next to our driveway

I sure hope your back starts feeling better quickly, Shellie. That is total agony for me. Did you do an ice cycle yesterday?

I've let all my guys sleep in, but it's time to wake them now. My DH is fine but has to get out the door for work. My 2 sons have the flu and need to wake up for meds and temp checks. It's been a little wild around here. My mom was admitted to the hospital yesterday because her heartbeat was so irregular and meds weren't helping. I can't go see her because the kids have the flu. I'm ready for everyone to be well!

I am so excited, and it isn't even on my behalf.
Last week I sold some BCM chicks to a couple, and they asked me if I had heard of Dixie rainbows. I hadn't but told them I would look into it.
I went to ace hardware to look through the chicks, and sure enough, they had some Dixie rainbows! I called up the lady and she was so happy that I found her some.
I love making people happy. Wish I could do it more often.
