I know. Sadly, it's very true!!! I have about 50-60 chickens plus some ducks, geese, and roller pigeons... lol... I really need to just sell out of the pigeons to make room for my other birds...

Yeah, unless I'm going to pare back to a "personal supply" flock of twenty or so, I need to actually start setting myself some chicken-raising goals and find a way to make them at least mostly pay for their feed. So I'm having to rethink my approach a bit!

Also, I agree absolutely with Overoberyl's suggestion for keeping the "claim" swaps simple, just posting "mine" instead of "mine for (whoever)". It didn't occur to me, and I DID want to snag those BLBs for pastrymama because I knew she really wanted them. But yeah, there's no need to confuse the whole thread with more info than necessary! Which I did...

Question: How do you make a personal "swap" page? I've seen a couple of people who have them, and I'd like to make a page just to keep track of my swaps -- and hopefully by spring, who I owe eggs to How do you do that?

There are several ways to do it, but probably the easiest way for you to get there is click on any of the swap pages you have seen, at the top there will be a link that says in blue "Member Pages". Click that link. Then, when you get to that page, click on the button "Add Member Page".

I never thought I would say this, but I'm actually glad that my internship is on evenings... It gives me the whole day to sit and swap (well, that and do **some** homework--emphasis on some. lol). It also helps that I can take little breaks here and there from my Graduate Assistantship and catch up on the swaps. What more could you ask for to enable a chicken addiction?
