:frow   G'morning guys!!!   Sorry Steph for your loss.  I have to put my NL CL roo down today and looks like one of the hens might not make it either.  I also have a part bart to put down with a beak growing in sideways.  Welcome to Monday.

Oh, bleah! That's a miserable way to start a week. It's supposed to be decent weather for a few days, at least -- it's not much, but maybe it'll help make the week a little better from here?

That's awful!!! I'm so sorry! It seems like there's been a lot of bad experiences with losses on here lately. :(

ok some pictures from yesterdays hatch. These are from Aye

These are pictures of the new incubator. It holds 50 goose per drawer! So worth the price, we will be ordering a second to run them side by side for the goose eggs only so we never have to limit chicken and duck egg space.

I know -- my girls started laying again late January and were doing fairly well, then suddenly about ten days ago slowed WAAAY down again and now the only ones giving me eggs at all are the two pullets. I don't get it.

I thought it was just me and I was doing something wrong. All my chickies stopped in December and 3 weeks ago I started getting 1 then quickly went to 5 a day now I'm back down to 1-2 a day even though 3 chickens are laying. My EE layed for a week straight and then stopped for the last week. The only one that has been consistent is my Dominique. I guess it's not me afterall.

I think it is from the yo-yo weather. It has flipped the geese on and off here some
I agree. Mine were laying gangbusters three weeks ago, and since the ice/snow storm I am back to 1 egg a day from the Blues. The only thing that I have laying reliably is my Buttercups. Three eggs a day from three pullets 5 to 6 days and I get 1 or 2 the other days. I would have never figured them for such prolific layers.

I think that has happened to just about everyone. Mine started laying great, then wham, back to just a handful each day.

thanks, I am very VERY impressed with his work. Plugged it in yesterday around 3 and by 4 it was at temp and steady. Loaded all the goose eggs in it last night.
would you please post a picture of the front, with it closed? I am trying to sell my husband on it, talk about an impossible sale, but trying never the less.
