Does anyone have an extra Solid State Relay that they have for one of those electronic thermostats that they are willing to sell/trade for? I drove to Home Depot in this weather warning crap hail, only to find out that they had none at the store. Now I've ordered one, but it's going to take 3-7 business days after shipping it, which is time that I don't exactly have. If someone has one that they haven't used, I'd much appreciate a quick sale and ship...

Hehe maybe he'll like them. If not, I'll have to try to watch the swap board a litle more. Darned work gets in the way of my addiction lol!

I've had a downright crapppy day.
first thing this morning the boss calls us all into a meeting to tell us that they are planning on cutting several people and we better show why we are all valuable. I love my job, but business HAS been pretty slow.

 So then I miss the post office by 5 minutes because I couldn,t leave when I was suuposed to, and I dang well wasn,t going to complain after that news.  But I,d pre-printed and paid for the postage for two packages that I didn,t get in on time. Will they take them tomorrow,anyone know?

and it is raining like nobodies business out there...I got soaked and chilled on the way to my car.

I wonder if I have any Kahlua.

Goodness! I'm sorry you had such a crummy day. What type of work do you do? I'll say a prayer that your job is safe!

I second the thought of an indulgence to make you feel a little better. Drink? Dessert? I think both. That recipe posted by TNBEARCHICK sounds divine.

Watching the snow blow in, very pretty, but I'm honestly quite ready for spring to hit.

Had some handling time with the chickens and ducks which DS2 absolutely adores. Couple pics of him with one of the Muscovy ducks - think this is a drake, looks like he's got a black spot coming in on his head. Man these guys grow FAST!

Hmmm. the school bus is now 20 minutes late....when should I start to worry? ETA: called. They broke down on the hill, so they're sending another bus. I get slightly paranoid when they're not home when the should be.

I'm happy to hear that they're safe! That's the worst feeling when you don't know where they are and they should already be home.

I didn,t have any Kalua...only thing I had was Amaretto,and goodness only knows how long THAT,s been sitting in there...but liquer can,t go bad,right? Anyway I made myself some hot chocolate with real milk and put a bit of the Ameretto in that. Whoo,Hoo! Living dangerously!!!

I am an Architectual Draftsman. yeah. not alot of jobs out there for that any more. But my husband has a decent job. I just so want to keep this house and not have to sell. We have been working on it for 7 years. I designed it and oversaw what I couldn,t do myself. DH and I have been finishing out the rest ourselves. t,d kill me to have to sell

I'd like to get my Muscovy set up in the back yard near the pond, but I'm worried about predators getting to them. Any thoughts on adding another bird to the little flock as a guardian? Goose (breed?), guinea, ??
