I am so excited! I went and picked up my Heritage Plymouth Barred Rocks early b/c of the snow, and even though they are a bit muddy and dirty....WOW! I love these guys so much!

Beautiful birds!!! What line are they? Who'd you get them from?

They are from Marvin Stukel line's. I got them from a farm up in Cleveland TN. I can't wait till they clean up and start laying me some eggs.

Ok I have a question of knowledge, we claimed Madams Blue Columbian Brahmas just because we love our Brahmas...... and our Orpingtons.... and our SFH.... and our Wyandottes ok we just love our chickens. So back to my question does anyone have any info on these, I know getting chickens yu know nearly nothing about

Yeah!! What a cute ittle lemon drop you have there BM6.................. I would be searching for a hidden nest, I know people north of you with eggs now. Have you checked the girls to see how close they are to laying? Eggs in lockdown and goose eggs heading to lockdown

Thanks! Umm...how can you tell if they're laying? Hatching is so exciting! I have 3 more Basque and 1 blue sex link from doubleatraining that I'm anxiously watching. All my others hatched a day early.
