Hey!!!

As usual, behind on posts, so I skip around and read bits and pieces... sorry chickenbelle about your eggs, that is really sad to see eggs shipped that way!! so far all the eggs I have received have had decent packing... by far the best packing was from DMRippy, those eggs were locked in there like Fort Knox!

I have eggs at home waiting for me to unwrap, can't wait to see what came!!

CUTE goats TNB!!! Someday we'll have other fun fuzzy animal babies...

and WOW CPL on all those collages, my oh my those birds are amazing!!

Oh and I ROFL'd COF and Herducks on your posts from yesterday about people being amazed that ducks and geese lay eggs, say what???

Donna & Shellie - meet the chick from the waxed egg! I am so amazed it hatched. I wish I would have taken a picture of the egg...it was more wax than shell!

YEAH! What is it and who are you naming it after?

Thanks for posting - this is inspiring. I actually waxed a cracked egg night before last (my 1st time). I only saw the huge crack on 1st candle when it already had great veining so I left it in trying to decide what to do, 3 days later I candled expecting a bloodring but found a dancing embryo so I waxed but w/o much optimism. Now I'm more hopeful the wax will work  

I'm crossing my fingers! What day is your egg on? I'd like to know if makes it as well.

The only thing I did besides melting the wax over all the cracks and indentations was very lightly mist the entire egg in oxine solution just in case there was any bacteria on the shell. I didn't want to seal it under the wax. I'm not sure if that made any difference at all...

It's an Olandsk Dwarf! Hmm...I'm sure hoping its a pullet...maybe Shonna lol! A boy would be harder...Dellie. If my boys have anything to do with it, though, it'll be something like Chirpy, Tiny or Fluffy. It's hard to keep a straight face when explaining some of our birds names. We already have Little, Hoppy, Buzzard, and Speckles bwahahaha!

BROOKHAVENS BABIES Oh! That blue slate colored one is gorgeous! What are they? I don't know how to rotate that now I don't think that light one is a splash does anyone else? I got the all elusive SOLID BLACK CHICK I need more eggs..... need more blacks There is one more chick that had some leg issues.

They are Rocks..... solid blue, black, blue barred and barred.
