Quote: That worked! Maybe you like the scenic drives, so this is just a suggestion knowing how the back roads are in KY - you may want to consider staying on I-75 down to Lexington where you can pick up I-64 and go east from there. According to Google maps, the time difference is only a few minutes, but they don't take into account the winding curves where there are no passing zones around the tractors. Just food for thought.
Okay. The new maps worked. Shipshewana is only about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes from me... I might just have to make a trip down there.![]()
Quote: It's not your fault, I thought they WERE, packed well...just the PO and itty bitty serama eggs don't mix I guess....but if you don't mind trying again, I could pay shipping, but I need to wait a month at least, I have eggs coming out my ears and my inkiesI shouldn't have grabbed those from Crystal, but couldn't pass them up, I picked them up and totally skipped the USPS![]()
Not to get everyone really excited BUT....in July I'll be driving across NC up through WV, OH, and to the top of IN. I'll be coming back down through IN to CPL's house and then down into KY, WV, NC. I don't have a ton of time so I can't deviate from the route but I'm happy to play chicken shipper along the way if you are willing to meet me along my route. Taking a SUV.
I know! We are fun poultry people too..... And, I don't hear nearly enough turkey love on this train! Just a slight course correct and we could pack in the turkeys...... I am feeling quite dejected and left out.....
Is this the auction on RBA right now?My friend has for sale
Okay thanks I still have like 35- 1 month old birds to get rid of, Welsummers, RIR, Blue Andies and Buff Brahma X Light Brahama and Buff Brahama and Buff Orpington X

That was just a rough routing. I'll be sticking to the major highways. That worked! was spoiledchicken, and I am impatiently waiting to find out if the rest hatched...<insert arms folded/foot tapping motie.>Can't remember who had a turkey riding the rails, but my turkeys must of heard. I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water. Glanced at one of the bators. There's a pip. Lockdown WAS tomorrow. Checked the eggs as I moved them and they were all but one internally pipped. The one had quit. These are White Hollands that I got from Celie from LA and some midgets. I'm gonna have turkeys that I get to keep this time! Yeah!
YAY, I'd love to meet you!Okay. The new maps worked. Shipshewana is only about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes from me... I might just have to make a trip down there.![]()
