Does anyone have a picture of what a turken naked neck egg looks like?  I found an egg today, pullet egg and I'm trying to figure out if it's one of the NN's or one of my White Bresse girls.  I'm thinking Bresse.  It's a very light color.

If you didn't get an answer our NN lay a light to med brown egg.

LUCK!  Hope you get at least enough for a breeding trio.

I'm excited because after about 30 eggs, I have my first Basque out and another pipping.  Thank you, Mzstre!

Yay! I love hatch day!

MY BATOR IS WORKING!!!!!
After seven and a half hours of shopping with a friend and spending $55 on stuff that was well over $150 retail, I came home and G and I plugged the bator on to check it and voila, everything turned on properly. NOW, I can get the rest of my turkey eggs and any other eggs anyone wants to send now, PLUS set the two trays of eggs from my girls!

I also have exchequer leghorns and the royal palms hatching now. :D

Thank goodness you were able to resolve the incubator frustration!

Sah, I am glad you called the doctor. I hope he can reassure you when he calls and give you a bit of peace. Let us know how your son is doing.

I am going to at least call. I will end up sitting ere feeling sick to my stomach and on the verge of tears if I don't get a professional opinion.
I am usin the vapor steam stuff in the humidifier, but in my anxiety stricken state, I am now afraid it's makin it worst, but I can't shut it off, because I am afraid THAT'S going to make it worst. Lol it's a vicious cycle

That is the best thing to do. You are absolutely correct. You'd feel better and a professional is the only person you would want to ask at this point. Subjective opinions aren't going to help you, and objectivity is wise. God bless you and your little one. CynD

Good. I had to get my son to change the temps on my hatcher. I think it is a little to hot. I had 4 Wheatens die. 1 had hatched, 2 had pipped and 1 had zipped.... just ODD. I moved the baskets around so they are not in the same spot and lowered the temp and made a bigger temp drop before it will come on. Figured lower was better.

I will be gone most of the day tomorrow so I hope all goes well. I am going to get 2 Exchequer chicks a pair of Exchequer x WL crosses and some hatching eggs too. My roo guy also has some of my pullets I gave him for roosters and said I could come by and get what ever I wanted. He has one of the Exchequer x WL crosses or 3 and said he had a Black Laced Red Wyandotte, but we will see. I am not going to take all his pullets, he needs to eat breakfast too

I wish I had known. Maybe I could've paid you to pick up the Roos he was going to sell to me until he got ugly when I asked why he quoted two different prices for shipped or picked up. He said he no longer sells to the general public and wont return my emails. :(
