Hi All!

So, can someone tell me about feathered feet and SFH? All of my SFH have had feathered feet, so I just assumed that it was a breed thing. But, someone pointed out to me that feathered feet in SFH is actually very rare and wanted to know if it was really a SFH. I am sure it is, I got them from a very reputable trader. How can I respond?

Yeah I would suggest some training with food aggression. Your dog sees your kids as part of his pack...kinda like siblings so they show their dominance with them. Where does he sleep at night? Do you let him on the furniture? These are little things that allow dogs to feel superior. When we got our Aussie from the pound she bit my girls a few times...not due to meanness...she was showing her dominance. So she quickly was rerouted to a kennel that we placed in the girls bedroom. They were responsible for letting her out of her kennel in the morning. Then while we watched they also gave her food out of their hands. Soon she realized she was at the bottom of the pecking order. I still watch her around small children because they just make her nervous but my girls are older now so they know how to handle her. You can do the training yourself. :0) atlleast try

We also didn't allow her on the bed or couch for a long time...especially when the kids were in the room.
