The eggs were at day 10, Easter hatch-a-long. How long do yall think I should wait before I candle again. Last night was day 12 when I candled and they all looked like day 9 would. Or...... should I just not look again, quit turning at day 18 ? and see if anything hatches. Soooooo sad over these BEAUTIFUL eggs! They all arrived in A-1 tip top condition with fantastic packaging.![]()
Awwww and thank you Gable I know you would, you are such a sweet heart.
Those are really neat looking! Love that cool comb on the roosters. Is anyone interested in Augsburger chicks? I have 5 of them and looking to sell them. No trades. I have no room for more.
Oh I hope so thank you.I would continue to candle or weigh the eggs to make sure they are developing properly - that will tell you when to lock down. The 18 day lockdown applies if you don't have any snags... It does sound like they were delayed - hopefully they will still develop for you.![]()
x2Those are really neat looking! Love that cool comb on the roosters.
I believe that is aceschixand one mystery boxwhich were also all in excellent shape (April W. from NH)![]()
I believe that is aceschixQuote:
After checking out my wyandottes I decided to put the other guys in their own coop. There are 5 roosters in the wyandotte grow out coop and I would be adding at least 6 more roosters. So I will keep them separate.
I also bred one of my rabbit does yesterday and she finally submitted to the male!! Yeah, hopefully baby buns in a month.
