Received eggs from GableBabble (#4946) today. Extras included....Thank you. Good packaging and the box was in perfect condition but the PO still managed to break one egg. All the other eggs look great. DC# 9405 5036 9930 0367 6264 09

yes yes yes. Was just in it again (this is hatch/lockdown time again for goose eggs) 4 have internally pipped so moved them to the hatcher, one is behind on air cell growth so misting often today and keeping up top in front og the fan and 3 are about to internally pip. I am opening about every hour or two for checks of the eggs. It drops to 95 or 93 and within seconds of closing is back at 99.5 and humidity stays stable. ( I am also misting eggs as I close the door so this helps keep the humidity from bottuming out.

The dickey is a great incubator, but I wont ever hatch in it as the fan dries everything out quickly if you dont add extra water, and really up the humidity. I dont like yo-yoing the humidity with eggs still cooking in there.


we dont incubate and hatch in the same cabinet.

hatching is done in the redwood or the brinsea tabletops

Anyone want to do a sideswap for a dozen Arkansas Blue and at least 9 Salmon Faverolle eggs to go out tomorrow? A couple of the blues will be on day five.

I'm already going into withdrawl, and I haven't even put the last of my eggs in yet! Last chicken eggs go in this weekend. I still have a claim for blue slate turkeys from reesepoultry and three (!) claims of quail from Sahwithchicks that will come in whenever the birds cooperate, but no more chickens until August! I'm going to have to live vicariously through all of you. And maybe have hubby put a window in the incubator door......
