OK - Scissors it is - Wonder if my husband would miss his beard scissors if I put them back before he gets home?

They are nice, sharp scissors - Surely if I wash the poo off, he won't notice!

Just wanted to show everyone that button quail babies and bantam babies CAN get along together. The button quails hatched on the 21st and the silkies hatched yesterday. The button quails think they've found their mommies and the silkies get really upset when I try to separate them from the quails. Not sure what I'm going to do about housing for this very unique flock of five.

OMG I just had a surprise I was so worried none of my 3 welsummer chicks would hatch and I have not seen ANY pipping on those eggs. I left at 2:30 to pick up my kids from school and when I came back at 2:50 one was HATCHED!!!!! Talk about fast!! HAPPY DANCE

Thanks for the comments on my roo, I think he's a nice looking fellow, but I am new to breeding to standard, so still learning... so far I'm getting good feedback on him...

Oh Dalooras, that's when mine were getting shrink wrapped, just when I had some of Pappas BBS marans in the bator. I only got one alive out of five that fully developed I still want to cry when I think about it. That's it, I'm going to TSC this weekend, come Heck or Highwater. My husband can kiss my bator!

Speaking of cooking, anyone willing to share slow cooking recipes for an almost one year o,d rooster? Henry has started to throw the girls around. He's also super people aggressive, which I expected. I am top roo, but everyone else is fair game in his book.

Any of you guys have fibromyalgia? If you do are you finding any relief? I thought warmer weather would help me again this year, but its warmer than its been and I'm still in h#%¥.

For those of you that don't know it's in the auto immune category. They used to think it was all in the mind, but have learnt its not. Antidepressants help some, but there are a whole wide range of other drugs also used. Before I was diagnosed with this too I was on morphine and vicodine for pain due to a debilitating injury. Thankfully after years of that I became allergic to them and no longer have to worry about being a drug addict. I always felt like I had a really bad flu and some days it was like my muscles were being flayed. The flu like symptoms are good days now, but those are getting fewer and farther between. If it weren't for my nine year old still needing me I would have ended it long ago. I know not something people want to hear. I'm just trying to find others that are dealing with this to see if there is something I haven't tried. To top things off a few years back I tore my knee and can barely walk again. I normally walk with a cane due to spinal stenosis and neuropathy, but the knee is the opposite leg. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and suspected psoriatic arthritis.

If any of you have found relief can you tell me what is working for you please. I know this is something I've dealt with most of my life, but the severity has only gotten worse over the last 8 years. My ability to function as a parent or an independent person is becoming severely compromised. My rheumatologist is looking into biologicals now and I really don't want to go that route.

I have an autoimmune disorder, when my muscles and joints start to ache and cramp and my skin starts to itch for no reason and the neuropathy begins to creep up my legs, and I feel like I can't breathe, I take 1mg of clonazepam and it works like a charm, it gives me such relief, I don't know what I would do without it.

I've taken it, but beyond helping me fall asleep it had no affect on my pain. I too have the itching, but only on my right arm between my wrist and my bicep. I have deep scars from scratching holes while I slept. I had it on my right leg too, but that was due to the severed nerve. I feel pain as itching there due to not healing properly. Pain and itching are on the same nerve response.

Currently I take cyclobenzaprime (sp) as a sleep aid, but am now up to the max dosage and am still up many nights until the wee hours.

Glad my fiance is on board with all the birds. I actually think he's worse than me sometimes.

My husband sees a pain management office and they have been doing nerve blocking injections. They arent permanent, but after two sessions he feels better and can atleast walk without pain. They do wear off and need to be redone.

We did injections with a fluoroscope for my herniated disks at L4 and L5. They can only do them so many times a year. They also don't like it when you keep falling. Since then they have discovered cervical and middle back ones too. My lower back is not able to be solved surgically. At least no doctor has been willing to take on the risk of putting me in a wheel chair. But to be honest my back problems aren't what is killing me. It hurst and limits me yes, but I don't wish to die because of them. Also since my mother had an allergic reaction to the steroid used the doctors won't give them to me anymore. Always so worried I'm gonna sue them. Geez I didn't sue my employer for my work related injury that caused my back problems. Just not that type of person.

I'm glad your hubby gets some relief. With me it was kinda hit or miss. Sometimes they got it in the right spot, but others it made it worse. They tell me that can happen with the body changing as it ages and scar tissue building up.
