Some days I feel so invisible on here. Yes, I'm having one of those morning.

Think I'll just go have coffee and hope the day goes better.

You and me both. I have those morning nearly daily.

I am heading out to see if my eggs have been eaten already. And I did lose that chick. How am I supposed to get anywhere on the MFC project when the chicks die or the eggs don't hatch?

greatful we live on an island and have an amazing breeze almost all day every day so when the a/c does go out we arent sweatin to the oldies

I would love to see your island someday! It sounds beautiful, and all the pictures you take prove it!

i am praying that we can fax the paperwork to our insurance co instead of mailing as they insist. Lightening hit our AC.   And it is toast.
It was almost 90* here yesterday. Yes, i am being a whiney butt, but more importantly, it is messing around with my incubators temp and humidity!!!! 

I can't imagine either of you being invisible on here. You both have such a powerful presence here, it's almost tangible!

Krafty, I'm sorry about the a/c. I think we all hate those unexpected financial hits, but ones that mess with the incubators...well, GRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr!

I think my post got lost last night when everyone was quietening down for the evening--I need help with lavender and lacing genetics.

I have a barred lav EE that is lightly barred, but really red combed. The two seem to clash as far as telling me the sex of this chick. Barring looks female, but comb male?

I also hatched some of our chicks from before we separated our birds. Lav orp hen with a GLW. Will that lav gene be in the black chicks and the gold chicks? Will any of them feather out with lacing?
