If you wish to put your egg mark on your swap page, that's fine with me. Just take a picture of it and post it. I for one will be using my initialed signed by me until I can find a stamp I like. I suggest using a marker that does not wipe off.

I am totally baffled! What does anyone have to gain from reshipping eggs anyway???? It's not like anyone on here is actually making any money by trading. If anything, most of you are taking a loss. Beyond beyond morally incomprehensible, I am am confused about what anyone has to gain by doing it. I guess some of us sell the chicks and that maybe pays the electricity on the incubator, but I don't get how reshipping eggs could be lucrative? Particularly back on the board! Any even if it was lucrative, how is it even worth your time to be so underhanded.

For someone who has low end birds or not even have birds. You claim paypal and resend what you receive on other swaps, you still make a bit of money off that paypal.

it washes off of egg surfaces, and can be rubbed off with rubbing alcohol and is not food safe. (just to name a few things wrong with it) I have loads of rubber stamps too and ink pads, they arent safe for the eggs and the perm ink isnt full proof.

For those who want to use stamps they already have, you can buy egg ink refills and use it with your stamp.

Crystal I have a mini moose internally pipped! Lets hope the kiddo wakes to his very first mini moose tomorrow! 5 made it to lockdown.

That's bantam buttercup to the rest of you. My son thinks their combs look like moose antlers, so mini moose they are.

Yay! I hope they all make it. If you get a cockerel and 3 pullets they will lay enough eggs for you that you will be overrun. Mine laid all winter long except for one short 3 week break where 1 mini-molted. Before 2 of mine went broody (by the way that isn't supposed to happen but they are sitting very tight and are very insistent.) I was getting about 18 eggs a week from 3 pullets.

I use to use purple and pink sharpies on all my eggs, then noticed a huge drop in hatch rates on my own eggs I set. Stopped and hatch rates went back up. Not scientific, but was enough for me to not use them anymore. Right now I use grease pencils
