Good morning peeps. Is it Friday yet? I did not want to get up this morning. Can't finish the white bresse pen until my netting comes in. Didn't plan this too well. Not enough net to cover the whole pen. It should be here before this weekend.

I've also found a new addiction. I've bought 2 little demon babies this week. Cute as buttons!

Good Morning, Happy Chicken People!

I always sleep in at my folks place. No light gets in a bedroom after you close up blinds and curtains!

And I need to have a discussion with my sister about not telling me she installed wireless here! I could have used that knowledge!

Daddy is doing great. He said several times yesterday that he felt better than he had in a long time! I'll bet he does...his heart had been working overtime, but not getting much done. With the atrial fibrillation and flutter, he wasn't pumping blood properly and was tired all the time. Now we're going to have to put a leash on him. He was talking about mowing the back pasture today! I pointed out that the tractor vibration would not be good for the entrance point in his groin, so he decided to wait... a day. Stubborn old coot! But he's not one to sit around. Probably why he's 84 and in pretty good shape. He's the oldest of eight kids, and there's only him and the youngest left, and the youngest is eighteen years his junior and in worse health. Daddy is tough.

I'm headed home today. Hubby says I have to count birds! He didn't realize what was out there until he had to feed them!
