yep and the birds are handled by fed ex and USPS all in the same darn plant and its a nightmare from a logistics stand point

USPS is KNOWN for being notified of live birds and leaving them on the dock for hours up there before getting them and moving them along, or bothering to put in a proper location while waiting

Oh yeah......roommate picked up at the PO! Saw KY and thought it was someone else!

Oh the joys of the USPS............. I can except the risk of shipping........I can except weather delays................... I dont except a plant manager stating "Well thats not my job you have to wait till 4 when the girl who scanned them at 3am comes in again" Yep..........heads...................will..................roll

Make a list, be sure to ask for names. Jot down times, etc. Make sure to get that girls name.

I want to start a project. Anyone have a video camera and recording device?
I would love to mail one back and forth. Zip tie it to the bottom of the box. See what happens. Our own investigation , if you will. I think I'll go research prices on camera's and whatnot now.


Better yet. DH has a game camera. Motion activated.

And I can't exactly replace them any time soon becuase these girls are taking slacking to the extreme.  I've collected a whole 3 eggs from the 7 ladies since I shipped that box to you.  However, I can send you some autosexing project eggs.  PM me if you want some of those.

I don't expect you to replace them!! You wrapped them well, and none where broken. PO just decided to throw the box... I am going to incubate them, and you aren't responsible for any thing more than you have already done . I was happy to see they where t smashed

I am so sorry to hear. Obviously there is a serious issue with the Memphis fed ex hub. My chicks were stuck there all day the other day along with a friend's chicks. We had both placed orders with GFF and they were shipped at the same time on the same pallet. They always arrive to me by 10am but, they didn't get to my main post office till midnight. I had told my post office supervisor to call me whenever they came in- it didn't matter what time- I wanted to be called. They were completely out of growgel and starved but, at least they survived. I really hope by some chance they are still alive when you finally get them tomorrow.
