Yeah!  I found 2 Tolbunt Eggs today!  I have another hen laying!!

Need advice on this little one I don't know enough to know if this is fixable or if I should end suffering. He holds one of his legs back almost behind him.

I have been able to treat spraddle leg with tape, so I would try if I were you. My impression though is she said the leg was straight back. If it's stiff at the knee/hock, then it's more likely slipped tendon. I've had no luck with that and now would just put them down. But it doesn't hurt to give them a couple of days.

I have been able to treat spraddle leg with tape, so I would try if I were you. My impression though is she said the leg was straight back. If it's stiff at the knee/hock, then it's more likely slipped tendon. I've had no luck with that and now would just put them down. But it doesn't hurt to give them a couple of days.

I haven't had much luck saving a chick with the straight legged problem either. Just had a D'Uccle hatch last week and both legs were like that, I tried the hobble and it didn't work at all, he would just flop over, and I couldn't figure out a way to keep the legs bent so that he could sit on top of them and learn to keep his balance. He didn't make it
