I was just sitting here thinking that I am not sure what I did before BYC and chickens.... hmmm

... I probably had more money.

Quote: Our cat that can sleep with me is the Cornish Rex. For a "cuter" cat look for the elvish Devon Rex - had those before. The siamese (oriental not applehead) was fine until spayed...spay-coat still sets me off. Also have hubby's MaineCoon cutie.

If you really wanted a horse that you might enjoy find a well-bred, well-coated Baskir Curly. Wonderful breed to ride and heavenly to brush-- just love them. Would still be on my wish list if I were a tad younger.

Awwww, I had a Bengal kitty. I Loved that cat. He played fetch and sucked on a binky. We found a stash of thirty-six binkies under the sofa when we moved. It was always so funny and ironic to see a mini leopard kitty running around with a binky. Btw, is that a term others use? Binky = baby's pacifier. He passed away due to renal failure. Broke my heart.

The Bengals only have a single coat, it's considered to be more of a pelt. They are amazingly soft and they shed very very little because of it. Some articles I've read call them "hypoallergenic", but I really think it depends on the person.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. It's heartbreaking to lose a pet. How old was he?
