You would be surprised at the places that have pallets.... auto glass shops. places that sell mowers, printers, places that sell tile and stones, sheet metal shops, FEED STORES. Just some other ideas. Might want to pick up the phone and call some places close to you and see if they have them and will save them for you.

CL...look up free pallets.

Could someone send me the link to the spreadsheet where we are supposed to post the number of eggs we are incubating for NYDH? I haven't seen it and don't have time to read the 10,000 posts over on that thread.

I posted my picture in the best hatch contest but am lost on the rest of it. I think I am too late to join the other hatching contests. TIA

I don't have them yet, they are on my wish list. I WILL be getting them, just don't know when or how

I will try lowes, the closest is an hour away and I have to borrow my husbands truck ... I guess it would make sense to call them first. Don't know why that hadn't occurred to me...

Around here Peopel post on CL when they have free pallets. Of course yymv.

I have checked CL, and like today, they are always hours away... If I could get enough to complete my projects - it might be worth it, but with gas, I dunno. I called a couple stores in town, and they said no, they return them. There aren't too many options, but you're right... There still might be a chance that a place I haven't considered may have them.

Ad the free ones are not always in good shape, either. Maybe place a looking for pallets and offer to pay a little if they are close? Might get bites that way, as opposed to waiting on them.

ok so it let me post the pictures, but I am not sure if people can see them. Will someone try to look at my profile and see if you can pull up some of the pics I just posted? I started a folder for my lavender and white orpingtons, and also my SFH. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
