As much as I want them, I love my Choc Orps. I just hope one of you will be generous enough to offer eggs at some point.

I am bidding on the Isbar eggs they have on ebay, since of course I was outbid on RBA. But then again, I am still not going to go that high. My conscience won't let me.

I will be offering them once I get them going. For me, this is a birthday gift from DH. He knows I love chocolate.

Are roaches easy to raise? and easy to keep contained?

Super easy- just used a big Rubbermaid (dark, not clear) tote and cut a hole in the top, used some window screen and hot glue to get them ventilation. The Dubias liked being in egg crates and needed humidity and warmth. Other than that, they were fine

So out of 14 eggs I pulled 4 clears. The rest are growing. The 4 I got from a mixed batch are growing as well. Once again I pulled the Olandsk Dwarf eggs. None of them started.

The first batch will hatch by the 31st. The last batch won't hatch by then though. Doesn't mean anyone would be able to identify them. Look at Kraftyladies' chicks.
