How do you tell the gender of a juvie frizzled tolbunt? I will try to get some good pics when i get home...

when it starts to crow?

Uggggghhhhhh. I got maybe four hours of sleep last night. Couldn't fall asleep, then my oldest son wakes me up a hour and a half later bycoming to my side of the bed and puking everywhere. Yuck. I had to get out the carpet cleaner, which woke up the baby, who decided to stay up until 4:30, then it was the babies turn to wake me up at 6:30 by puking. Awesome. We have been dealing with different strains of sickness straight since the end of October. My kids where NEVER sick before Hayden started school. Like, I could literally count on one hand how many times in four years the two had been sick. It is so frustrating. I keep having to tell myself that its good in a way, they will build up immunities now when I am not working, so we don't deal with this when he starts elementary school... But it's ridiculous.

So sorry for you and the babies.... Like u I finally just BOUGHT a carpet cleaner. Just about wore it out.... Will send up a prayer. Perhaps it was just too much sugar yesterday.

Thanks for the prayers all - still snowing - have probably 10 or so inches but the ELECT. stayed on!!!! Haven't ventured to the barn yet cause fed and watered at10 pm so taking my time before i get out in the wind..Brrrrr.

Susan, I took some pictures of your SFH Chick today... I *think * its a pullet... I usually am pretty good with feather sexing chicks, but it did have a decent crest coming out of the shell. Don't know, since I haven hatched SFH before, but the feathers are telling me pullet!
