so sorry to hear itWell my last little Sultan chick did not make it. I think he was just too weak. I just cannot figure out what went wrong. No temp spikes or lows. Humdity was what I hatch all my others out at. Air cells were good size. It is just very puzzling sometimes! Really good hatch one week, bad the next.

This is Plug and Penny the partridge Barthuners!! They are in that teenage awkard stage. He is starting to turn redder now. I can't wait to see what he looks like as a full grown roo.
I don't know if their other owner wants to reveal themselves, but they might, they should be proud to co-such great birds.
Their personalities are great they are very people friendy and inquisitive. I really enjoy them and sit in the garage for hours watching them and talking to them not to mention giving them treats. They ate getting layer crumble, egg maker, rooster booster, showbird conditioner and flock fuel. I'm going to add calcium today since they are growing so fast. They also get dried meal worms, alfalfa and bread for treats.
On a better note woke up to 2 silver phoenex chicks this morning. They are cheeping so loud we had to turn up tv!
Oh wow - they're so handsome! If that's their awkward teenage phase they're gonna be gorgeous grownups!
