I think this about sums it up!

Ideally, it would be great if we could get everyone to stop bidding, and you guys could get your auctions for reserve price only! I can dream, can't I!??
Super excited you ended up getting the bresse! Such support from fellow swappers makes things so much fun in here!
Good morning guys! Anyone have plans for tonight? I have none. Zip. It will be alone with the kids. I really try not to drink much anymore, since I tend to go way overboard, too frequently... But all I can think of is how much fun it would be to have a sitter tonight an find a party to go to! Those who have places to go, and beverages to consume, have a ton of fun, but be careful!! No need to start the new year in trouble!
Good morning. I have no plans at all for the night. Drop DH off at the airport this afternoon and that's about it. Oh I do believe we have a backwards swap to attend to tonight. Going to be loads of fun.

OK so the backwards swap... I should be around most of the night for this one. What are the TOP picks from my Breeds?????

Foley Line SLW (not the breeding pair I bought, but pullets I raised from Foley lines)
Foley BLRW 2012 Breeders
Foley Silver Penciled Wyandotte Bantams
Wheaten Ameraucanas
Lavender and Split Ameraucanas
Chocolate Orpington Project (Choc Roo x 100% Eng Black Orp Pullet)

I am thinking those would be the top picks..... BTW I just want to let everyone know.... I don't like to offer eggs I don't have that is why some of these are not being offered. You never know what could happen..... I am not a risk taker.

I love the bantams...just saying!

Good Morning Everyone -
Well, Out of the 10 eggs that went into lock town, 4 decided they needed out WAY before midnight. I have 3 extremely cute BBReds and one White Silkie looking at me like I'm crazy for telling them they were too early.

At least they are happy and apparently healthy.....
Looking forward to all the fun tonight. I haven't even STAYED UP till midnight in years. Gotta move chicks to the barn today even though its cold. Running out of room to put everyone. Guess I'll just have to have Mark build some more pens.

He tells everyone it is his second Job. Feel blessed he will do all the work for me..

I will be here!

I wanted to update you on those BCM eggs that my son got ahold of. I checked them a minute ago, fearing the worst. The membranes both look good, and the one I took a picture of is rocking back an forth, and the other (which is actually missing more shell!) I can see movement through the membrane! That makes me feel better.
I am wondering through, if the lack of shell will actually hinder the chicks ability to turn, pip and unzip?? I assume they use the pressure on the shell to turn around in the egg, since the shell is cracked and (assumingly) give way, I am going to have to keep an eye on that.

I'm glad u see movement. You'll have to name them "Rock" and "Roll"

Haha... I should!! It's pretty neat watching the one move through the membrane... It reminds me of pregnancy and watching the boys kick through my stomach  I have a video of my youngest kicking and it looks like an alien life form body snatcher!
I was pretty sure they where goners, especially since whole cleaning the goo off te closet carpet from the two fatalities, I unplugged both bators and didn't notice for a couple hours  STUPID the incubator got down to 80, an I assume the hatcher was less since it isn't as well sealed as the genesis. I will take temp drop over temp spikes any day though... After waiting my broody hen, I know those eggs cool quite a bit every once in a while.

A random post, since I'm all hopped on their coffee... Did you know Keurig and the singe cup brewing was invented by Green Mountain Coffee? I grew up in Vermont, and now my dad lives ten minutes from the plant. If you drive down the highway past Waterbury Vermont, you can smell them roasting coffee. Every Christmas, Easter, and thanksgiving we would drive from Richmond to Randolph and I would know we where going by Waterbury just by smell :)
