we dry incubate everything (30% or less)

ducks (domestic) at lock down humidity is raised to 70% or higher

muscovy are laid on their sides from day one
-- starting day 5-7 they are pulled out daily and allow to cool for 10 minutes and sprayed with warm water then returned to the bator
-- monitor air cell growth and increase or decrease the cooling as needed for your environment

Geese run like the above list for Muscovy as its how we hatch geese always and I changed our muscovy over to this technique.

goose eggs are laid on their side using the X and O marking system. In auto turners and ALSO hand turned once a day from X to O and back again the next day.

I took pictures last night of my NYE hatch. I set quite the hodge podge.

Thanks

I dry incubate everything also. Last year I tried to hatch the few fertile Sebastopol eggs I got. They got to about a week from hatch and quit. SO frustrating !! I thought I killed them by dry incubation. Guess I killed them because I did not cool them down.

I think I will put them in the Brinsea ECO20s this year and follow your plan. That will be easier for me then putting them in the Dickey.

. I have 7 of madamwlfs CCL in lockdown. I can tell for sure 5 of them, but 2 are questionable, have been developing, just didn't see movement like I did in the 5. But I always have trouble with those blue shells!
