Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Looking to have all pray for me to have patience!! cjwalton and I did a side swap and of the 14 NJ she sent, I put 12 in lock down about an hour ago.... I want them all to hatch sooooooo badly. I have hatched hundreds of eggs, but haven't been this impatient since my first lock down.

This is the best development I have had out of shipped eggs.... must have been the EXCELLENT packing!!

That was a great idea about taking pics as we pack eggs. Everyone should do that.... every little tip can be help right. I am going to pack a few eggs tomorrow I think and I will take pictures. BTW my son gets me they styrofoam from work, they just toss it so I put it to good use

The big bubble wrap I get that from a perfume shop. I stalk them for a shipment and got get 2-4 55 gal bags FULL at a time.... I do buy the bubble wrap

I find the BIG bubble wrap really helps. Much less breakage with it.

Well it was about this time last year, I took my wedding rings in to be cleaned and the perfume shop had just got a shipment. We packed all we could in boxes and I CRAMMED it in my little car. I have since gotten a minivan so I can take it ALL.

I take some eggs when I can to make nice.

It really was not for THRIFTY sake... it was just PERFECT for shipping eggs, so why let it go to waste??????????? Happy accident.

BTW.... I found an add on CL for some FREE Packing material..... not what I thought but I got as much as we could fit in the truck.... I will get a picture of it. I am going to use it for nesting material. It is the straw (but not straw) looking stuff they use to ship stuff in big crates.... PERFECT nesting material. They can't really kick it out either, it is kinda woven together and hard to pull apart. I can't wait to start using it! I have enough to last a few years. LOL It was a box on a pallet that was about 5 ft tall and 4ft x 4 ft square and we filled the bed of the truck with more from another box, mayb 1/3 of another box. HUGE pile in the back barn with all the free pallets.... got to save money where you can with these chickens or they can't afford their feed.
