Blue chicks can often look black when they hatch.

I had 4 isbar eggs sent in the mail a while back. All 4 hatched: 2 splash hens, one black hen and one blue rooster !!! They do hatch, and that must have been one of my most fav hatches ever.

I don't either because then I would have to answer the question with the truth when DH asks instead of my typical answer of "Too many roosters" or "Under 100". He doesn't ask too much anymore, just rolls his eyes
