I was looking for Wheaten Marans eggs=) But I have to wait until early spring.. unless we have an early thaw... lol... you just never know around here!! I'll have to keep my eye on ebay, sounds like!!

Oh and I live about 3.5 hrs away from Orlando I think. But I would definitely come down there sometime to meet you!!

Oh, that's not too far away.... DH and I lived in Orlando for a year before the kiddos came... we LOVED it!!! but we're both west coasters and were too far away from family once we found out we were starting our family.... BUT, taking the kiddos to Disney World, Kennedy and the beach is defnitely on the to-do list...
We actually spent much more time at the beach, Kennedy, and Gatorland (DH loved the gators) than we did any of the theme parks.... loved FL!!!! I actually still have a house tree that I bought when we were there... definitely is growing very slow here, but it keeps me in touch with our time there.. ahhh the nostalgia=)

Nothing exciting happening here today -- just got back from dropping of recycling; what a glamorous life I lead! My new chickie is all warm and happy and fluffing up nicely. She's a cutie!

Those vulturine guinea fowl are so pretty! But the auction isn't for what's pictured, it's for half vulturine/ half pearl guinea. $91 for only three eggs, and the reserve hasn't been met yet!!

Yeah. AND the resulting offspring are all sterile... You're paying for a gamble on them hatching and even if they do, you'll end up with those chicks and no more.

Exactly!!! I looked them up on here because the person selling them is a BYCer and they are all sterile when crossed with guineas...

Well i went home for lunch and right before I left to go back to work poked my head in at some eggs due to hatch tomorrow. There were no pips and no movement this morning so i was just looking to see if anyone had pipped. There was a fluffy little chick in there waiting for me! Cute little orp. chick from kytinpusher! I will take pictures this evening.

I guess babymakes6 was rooting for KC for no reason, but I think I owe you eggs since the Raiders won!! I didn't betray my team by rooting for KC but I am a bad fan for betting they would lose. oh drats don't tell the other raider fans they WILL beat me up.
