Hey guys. Can someone explain the Christmas Eve backwards thread?

I am very bummed. out of the last batch from CJ I had 5 NJ's developing and 3 CCL's. The power went out all day last week and just 2 NJ's hatched so far. I have left the rest in there after taking the 2 NJ's out (looks like boy and girl). I will wait a day more before calling it quits but just think it is wishful thinking. The one NJ male is a bit weak so am keeping an eye on him. It figures it would be shipped eggs as ALL my lavender F1's hatched along with my Light sussex.

Whats up with this xmas eve backwards swap iv seen mentioned on the swap thread? Im on my my laptop is down and this phone takes way to long to try to search for info in this thread and the swap thread.:/

crfarm, I'll send you more eggs. I lost most of my shipped eggs when the power went out for eight hours, except for DMRippy's eggs, which were not as far along. Even the ones due to hatch, I ended up with only four chicks (six tried though). I had 100% going into lockdown from Debs_flock, only two hatched (out of ten). Interestingly, all of MY eggs are still going strong.

I don't know all the details, but from my understanding the first person offers something: I offer up $20 paypal, someone posts what they will give me for my offer, I pick something then that person offers something. Someone else can probably explain better, but something like that.
