I might be able to do that. I have a note book written here incase I am not able to be the one packing and sending

I think my biggest issue is when to set them to make sure I have all hatched and shipped at a good time.

First time you ship lives is stressfull, it gets easier for sure. We have a great system now and it is different for chickens than ducks and geese

I would LOVE advice! I haven't done it yet and I'm looking for advice from all of y'all!!!!

YES to NPIP before you ever send anything including hatching eggs.

Once NPIP you get to spend time emailing or calling every state you think you may ship to and find out their requirements. Or wait till you have a buyer and do it then. ( I like to be overly prepared lol)

Get calendar out pick the ship date .........

count backwards based on how your eggs perform in your bator to your set day

I think it's all the tiny details that are freaking me out. Older birds are so easy, they are feathered already. No need for heat. Just add a bit of food and water source, birds and off they go. Chicks requires so much more planning. I would assume it is better to set the eggs in the evening then.
