Ok, so after visiting Kraftyladies, I think I have decided my blue Ameruacana pullet
Is actually a lavender. What are the breeding rules for lavenders? I have a black cockerel from the same hatch- do they breed like blues?

You want to breed blacks with labs..strengthens the lav color!!

yep black to Lav to strengthen the coloration. The black female chicks from a Black roo over Lav hen will black split to Lav, if put with a Lav roo will give some Lav off spring.
