I fed everybody, but their food froze so they came to let me know!




Big guy tried to push the cockrel off his perch...


they ended up having a crowing contest instead!

When my flock is giving me a hard time because it is 40 out I am going to post your pictures and tell them to stop squawking at me! It makes me cold just looking at them

I had three silkies hatching. One hatched, one zipped but got glued to the bottom paper towel and drowned/suffocated. I'm almost thinking about not using a liner on the bottom of the hatching tray.

I'm so sorry. It's very frustrating to have happen. What did you use? The trials and tribulations of hatching are just overwhelming sometimes.. just speaking for myself here. I have used both paper towels as well as some rubber shelf liner cut to size with no problems with either so far. I tried lining the hovabator bottom but it affected humidity too much so I removed it. I hate the wire on their poor little feet!
