It's raining! Seems like forever since I heard the sound of rain. Kind of a nice, quiet way to start the day -- well, other than the rather wet trek out to the coop

Good Morning - Rained here last night. Sun and 50 today. I'm home sick from work. Flu like symptoms. Hope I can get a few things done around here. Can't afford to be off and not get SOMETHING done.... Buttercups still hatching this morning. They are taking their sweet time....

Good morning, 40 and windy here today. The ducks are loving the melting snow, lots of very fun puddles. The chickens are not so happy. They are sticking to staying in their nice dry covered run!

Nah, just ran out in my tee shirt to grab the eggs as they were all doing the laying song. Makes me want to go visit my snowbird folks in Fl though!

It's supposed to get to 60 here today!!!!! holy cow! I need an excuse to go home...do I feel a scratch in my throat? LOL

It's supposed to be nice theis weekend, too. very unseasonably warm!!!
maybe I can get the indoor pair of chicks out to enjoy it!

at what age do you guys put your chicks outside?...they will be 9 weeks this weekend. I am thinking it is time.
