Now I feel self-centered thinking only of our family. 
No, that isn't crazy. I'm just surprised it has taken so long and been so spread out. Mine normally pop like popcorn. 8 out of 20 is horrible. Have they all been healthy?
Hope everyone's birds show up safe and sound! I am waiting for my birds from CA to show up as well. They were shipped yesterday, but haven't been scanned since leaving San Francisco. Maybe all of our birds were together at some point!
Heather, I am sorry to hear about your Bresse-I know the feeling of losing birds you wanted so badly! For me, it was a trio of CL that Rachael gave me.
Have to euthanize one of the bresse cockerels and have him necropsied. Also bringing two pullets to have bloodwork done. Having a hard time with this. I feel really naive right now. I wanted these birds so badly and I just feel helpless.
Hurray! Glad they made it.My babies are here!!! Just got back to work from dropping them off. Oh my, I wasn't expecting them to be so big. I'll get pictures later!!!

The only time I didn't drive down was because the shipper never told me they had sent the birds. I received a box of 24 dead chicksI did manage to warm and save the 25th. My local PO made the comment...................yes, it's been so hot lately! "THEY NEED HEAT YOU MORON!!!!" Didn't say it, but certainly thought it. I wanted to dump the whole box out on the floor on their side of the counter or maybe in the middle of the lobby. Believe me, everyone waiting in line knew exactly what had happened.
