Sounds good to me!

I plan to give a pair to my cousin and another pair to Rachael's friend, but was wanting to know if fertility would be a problem in a quad? Can a cock cover 3 hens well?
Our local city park has 2 pens of peafowl. I wanted to ask about getting eggs to hatch for a long time, but never saw anyone to ask. Back in November I was there when the lady came to feed, so I asked what they do with the eggs and she said they usually get tossed. She said they wanted to reduce the flock by quite a few and would give them away if I wanted them.

Oh, that's great! How smart of you!

Are they throwing away any more?

Oh, they are so pretty. How little are they, and how old?

They are 3 months old. They are small. At this point they are not much bigger if any that my Old English Game Bantams. They are as soft as cotton. They are quite active, so I hope that means they are in good shape. There was NOTHING left in the box. I'm glad my postmaster literally went the extra mile!

We have a great Zoo here. I may have to see what they do with all the eggs. Probably feed them to the reptiles.

Congrats on their safe arrival!

Hmm, think I need some Exchequer Leghorns. Striking patterns. Could use a white egg layer for the laying flock.. :) I like the wild black/white patterning.
