Oh, yay!!! Sah, I'm so glad -- I remember all too well the panic when a bad puppy takes off. My lovely Lionel (husky/lab/wolf) was a fabulous beastie, right up till he'd have what I called his "wolf" days -- the days where he'd look at you and obviously be thinking "Yeah -- I don't need you." It showed all over him! The rest of the time he was as well-behaved a dog as I've ever owned -- but on those days? GAH!

So glad your doggie is home!

I had one that was missing overnight. Very stressful!!

I had 3 dogs and a goat (lol) take off a couple months ago. Was not funny at the time but is now. The neighbor came and told me. And said the goat was running right along with them

I would have been a WRECK if we hadn't found him tonight. I probably would have been out on the 4 wheeler all night driving through everyone's property. For the most part, I assumed he would have been at my neighbors, since we have ten acres, our neighbor on the right has a ten acre lot, and the neighbor on the left has like 100 acres that wrap around our two properties. Across the street is 200 acres or something that is 8 foot fenced as a deer camp. If he wasn't around here, he was gone.
Went and picked him up and he's just like. "What, I wasn't doin' nothin'" Turd

Thanks all. Our neighbor went out and looked on his property and found him. I am so thankful he wasn't hurt, hit by a car, or stolen. He may be a very very stupid dog, but I love him

yay!!!! I was going to suggest that someone could be sheltering him with the intent of taking him to the shelter tomorrow. We've had that happen with our Houdini dog.

She's probably still looking for those other two missing boxes of birds.
The other two boxes haven't arrived-it was only Madamwlf's.

I had to drive 45 minutes to get them, or they would have sat until tomorrow. When I got there, the PO employee who brought them out said she lives just up the road from us and would have delivered them on her way home.

I sure hope he is ok and just being a bad bad puppy. He has never been gone like this
Was going to say I hope you find him, but I see you did!

I hope you find him soon. My young dog took off this past summer. I got him back 5 days later. The lady had seen my flier at the grocery store so when he showed up with their daughters dog on their property she called the store and got my info. I don't think I slept 6 hours in 4 nights.
We had a breeder pair of Goldens that loved to dig. We even put electric wire around the inside bottom of the pen and they still dug! One night when the ground was very soft from rain, they got out. They were gone for 13 DAYS! I put up signs, placed an ad with petfinder.com, and called all the shelters and local radio shows. One person reported them chasing after a few deer, so I drove all over that area, someone else said they saw them headed west about 20 miles west of us. I chased every lead and never found them. On the thirteenth day, I looked out toward their pen and saw something golden. I went out to investigate and they were both in their pen! They were covered in burrs and mats, and very thin, but they were home! I took Monty out and tied him to the washline so I could brush him and give him a bunch of love, and as soon as I turned around he got his collar off again! He tore around the garage and went back in the hole he dug into his pen! He was determined he was not getting out of that pen again.

I'm thinking that at this rate you should negotiate a Foley franchise agreement with him! :gig

Now that's funny! I wish I had the emoticons on my phone lol!

I'm relieved he's home and safe! I was a nervous wreck when my dog took off.
