So I did another lightly moronic tired mom thing. I was candling and checking on the temp in the bator to make sure everything was okay. I forgot to turn the turner on for 24 hours :/ is this really awful? I guess I'll find out wed. I'm not messing with anything again until lockdown!

You'll be fine. I've done that for more than 24 hours at a time (eep) and they still hatched.

I thought as much. I know I've forgotten to turn them manually for a day but that was a long time ago.

we have forgot to turn the turner back on for the first 4 hatches on our sportsman. So far... no problem.

Hello all!

My Mr took me away for the weekend, 28 wonderful child-free hours window shopping in "no touching" stores and eating in "grownup" restaurants.

It was great. I even found this totally nifty little wire cage at an antique shop for $6, it's super simple looking and perfect for transporting just a few chicks.

But now it's Monday. Back to reality. I"m not gonna try to catch up on all the posts! Hope everyone is having a pleasant Monday!
