You are soooooo bad!!

On a funnier note, I got a return email form the bBay egg killer - He said and I quote "Wow, those look bad. I'd contact the post office if I were you!" end quote.

Don't think he is going to offer any replacements!!!
You are kidding, aren't you?

That is AWFUL! (but it is a little funny, too!)

Morning everyone!!

Again, I feel your pain. We had to order satellite internet to have it. They have broad band less than a mile from us

Still not ready to move any closer to town...... Like the "country" life.
Us too! When we moved here 2 addresses closer to town have broadband. The guy who installed our septic system lives up the road and has it at his house.
If you get cell service at your house, you might want to look into the Verizon Jetpack MiFi4620SL. It's a 4G wireless connection and works great. You can add up to 5 items to it.
We currrently have a verizon mifi for an internet connection. We have no Gs here though. SUPER slow, drops out all the time AND costs way more than internet acess should.
White Leghorns HANDS DOWN! The Best Layers of all time. I am not even sure mine have ever molted.... till now. They are thinking about it. One girl has looked a little rough for awhile now, but she is just now starting to SLOW down on her laying. They lay HUGE eggs. Even my pullets are laying JUMBOS already. I will never NOT have them in my flock. I don't find them flighty either.... JMHO... but it outta be everyones

Love my little Leghorn. She's top hen in my coop and lays 6 days out of 7. I didn't think I'd like her. Now I want more!
That was a REQUIREMENT in our search for a house/farm.... HAD to have at least DSL or Cable internet. We would LOVE U-Verse but that is a stretch for such a rural area. Good luck!
It was on my "need" list too....until we couldn't find something in our price range. Then in moved to the "want" list.

Okay tired and going to bed. Jeannie's carrier is definitely going out tomorrow. Fulimene's eggs as well as COFs. Above is a picture of one side of swindledana's carrier the other side will be similar an there's still a tiny bit of detail to do on it but that's it for the most part. Hope you like it!

Yours is up next Walli just letting it sit in clamps tonight to let the glue dry properly! Will see just how much they cost to ship tomorrow though it won't be priority. Hope that's not a biggie! Well unless eggs are shipped with them of course!
Beautiful!!! I want one!!
I think the plan is to have it the Saturday before Easter. Reverse swap is when person one offers something say $45..then for 10 mins people post what they will give person 1 for that $45. Person 1 picks what they want by the end of the 10 min time frame and person 2 is up. You can offer anything, money eggs or other items.
I'd better start saving my pennies!

Wish I were kidding - I paid $27.00 + 15.00 shipping (High I know, but I couldn't find Spangled OEGB anywhere) and he tells me I should "contact the post office"??? Ya gotta laugh

I think I'm going to send him an email on how to properly pack eggs - I was heart broken to see all of those potential chicks broken in the bottom of a box. Yes the post office damaged the box, but come on - no one puts eggs between 2 pieces of 1 inch foam and covers it with newspaper and expects them to "arrive alive"...

Just thought I'd let you all know that I've changed my user name from spitfire22637 to Ridge Farm.

Quote: file a paypal refund request due to total loss of contents thanks to a poor packing job. A buyer/receiver can not claim from the USPS its the seller who has to file the claim. Paypal however can and should issue a refund since the packing job was horrible and you have proof.

Do herons eat chickens? I've got a blue heron who seems to have a fascination with my chickens. It's out sitting on the fence across the field just watching my hens. Tommy's doing a great job of patrolling along the fence closest to it and barking. Should I be concerned?

Blue Herons eat fish so you should be fine.

I have a box of eggs at the post office that has NEVER BEEN SCANNED other than when it was shipped

Lets hope they are OK. They were due yesterday, but the weather may have played a roll.
