I should say the wafer isn't set right.

You should not hear the thermostat click on at all. That tells me the wafer isn't set in the right position. All the eggs are in lock down in my genesis. I put them in egg cartons to try to limit the "egg rolling contest". There were none pipped yet but I think they are wanting out of there..... I do not hatch and incubate in the Dickey. I had read on this thread that it was best not to. I took the water OUT of the Dickey. I had been "dry incubating" when all I had was my three genesis but it came with the tray hose and bucket so I thought it was something I NEEDED to use. I have the vent open half way, but it is still kicking off and on every min. or so and the temp is still fluxuating about a degree. Any Ideas? Could it be that the theomoeter is "blowing back and forth" because of the fan? Is there another kind of theomoter/ hygrometer I can get for it? I really don't want to mess things up now....
Thanks for the help
Cool so now they don't even have to slow down as they drive by and toss the boxes of fragile hatching eggs over your fence as they go by.![]()
Picture? My eggs hatched!both the Rhodebar eggs Papabrooder sent in a Hen's choice hatched. and it's a pair!!!!
I'm concerned about the female though. She doesn't seem to be able to control one of her legs, she wobbles around okay, but something sure isn't right.![]()
