Ok, here goes my attempt at catching up, lol

Sad I missed the GFF chick offer thingie BM6 posted about a few days ago... hope you get some Awesome chicks!!

Sad I missed CPL's offer for the RO eggs, but I think she's sending me some chicks this spring (which is now much sooner than it was in November when I claimed the eggs, yaya!!) so I think I'll survive

I did a CL trade today at the mall... Found a home for my Lavendar EE/Ameracauna roo and a Delaware pullet... YAY!! He was an ok example of a roo, so I didn't feel bad letting him go, plus I have to make room for more birds this spring, so I had to start somewhere... I've actually been pretty lucky with my CL transactions... there are lots of nice chicken people around here... but those stories of the cops stopping you are

Well the auction was interesting,did pretty good for what I had, made hubby happy. Spent some time with my friend Debby, which I don't get to do much of anymore, so was nice. And I am opening up the eyes of my friend who has had chickens for quite some time, but had no idea what all breeds and colors there are out there. I am not an enabler. Nope.

I'm glad the auction went well and you were able to visit with a friend! Umm...enabler? Lol I thought this was the enablers' support group lol! The first step.... . Will she be joining us here soon then?

That would be great.  I don't have them here.  They are ODD gears.  It is a plastic gear with 2 sets of teeth.  Both are helixal cut teeth.  I may have to break down and buy another showtime rotisserie an tear it apart.  

Goodness, I'm sorry you are having such a frustrating time with this! What you need is a machinist - they fabricate metal parts. I wonder if someone here knows anyone who does that? Definitely post a pic of the gears. I know you're active on other threads; you should ask there too.

Perhaps someone has a showtime rotisserie that they don't use. I'll check withy mom later today. She had one collecting dust, but I'm not sure what brand or if she still has it.
