I wonder how many dozens, possibly hundreds of very, very happy customers have you to thank for your generous extra eggs, your excellent packing and kind heart? I know that I have 5 very happy looking eggs in my 'bator and will have some little happy babies running around. It is so very easy to get down and frustrated by "those" guys.... but how many more of "us" guys who are thrilled with your product and generosity? Your extra eggs do not go unnoticed. It is a shame that the mishaps get the most attention. Hopefully you can take some comfort those who are delighted.

Just got off the phone with PayPal, and I feel relieved but still sad over those poor baby turkey eggs. Sure hope he doesn't throw them out.

You guys are right. I did do nothing wrong. I did try to make things right and if that is unacceptable to him then he can just go stick his head in a bag and fight for air.

My hubby thinks he was after free eggs all along.

Thanks proTi! Just candled the 40 I have set and tossed two. Now I need to go give Frankie a good stern lecture that if he can't keep up with those girls he better stop doing synchronized strutting with Fred and Ralph and let them get busy. So I still have 38 going and am looking to get some more set soon. I may have a dozen to trade with you next week depending on orders and swaps. Let me know if you have room for them.

My Harvey girl is broody. Should I get her a puppy?

Good Morning Everyone!! It is a WONDERFUL DAY as a matter of fact. I have a confession to make - I am in love with Clarence

My new additions arrived at 5am. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! As an added bonus, the girls laid 2 perfect eggs on the way.... I am truly BLESSED. Sorry Clarence, my husband got the order for chocolates correct

He loves Chocolate almost as much as you.... Gotta get to work!! Just wanted to share......

Now those are some lovely little chickens!! Congrats!!

Morning all! I'm going to town today, and realized that todays the day the feed store gets their first shipment of chicks. I think I need.....I need pine shavings. That's it!....and I have to drive all the way across town to that store to get them....

I, too am curious how many bags of shavings you brought home, lol... It is hilarious to me that even though I have eggs in the bator, 2 brooders with a few chicks, and more eggs/chicks on the way, that I would still be tempted to go the feed store and get chicks, truly, this is a sickness!!

My further suggestion is to stop letting it bother you

. You worked hard to make it right and they are being evil about it...can't win them all.

Ditto!! You did your best to make it right, some people just can't take responsibility for their own mistakes and try to manipulate others into thinking it was their mistake, don't let him manipulate you!

Not meaning to be impatient... CPL posted about the ivermectin, too... that does seem right that it goes between their shoulder blades... Anyone? Where do you drop the ivermectin and how much?? I think somebody talked about it a while back, sorry I missed that conversation somehow..

When I used it, I put it on their neck, their bum (below vent being very careful not to get it bear the vent) and under each wing. Although since I have two or three chickens that want nothing to do with being held (broody momma for one) they got it on neck and bum only. Hope I did it right.
I also still am unsure if I should safeguard them? I am sure ivermectin is a partial wormer, so I think I don't need to worry about it.

I am sorry you are dealing with this-sometimes it makes you feel like just quitting, doesn't it?

X 100!

Well went out and got hugs from my turkeys so I feel so much better.

Now as for those chickens I need to get for my son. Guess I better start figuring out who I should be stalking.
