I bet it was mis-scanned by the PO. I know, hard to believe!

Vet wrap can stay on for MONTHS. It will spread open as they grow. I also use VELCRO and pipe cleaners to mark them. They don't come off ! Well unless they snuggle up to another one with velcro and it pulls off LOL (only had that happen once)

I like this idea.

I bought the little cable ties, but haven't put them on yet. I'm going to do this instead.

Here at the ER. Thank you for all the advice. I would have been a panicking mess all night and ended up here anyway. I marked his foot at 7, and it actually looks like it went down a little

but of course we are going to have to pay a lot of money for peace of mind at the least.

Sah, I'm so relieved for you! It's awful when your kids are sick and you don't know how serious it is and don't have health insurance/wads of cash for the dr. I remember!

Bourbon with his hens. Please don't judge the yard. They're being moved onto green pasture in two days!

wantwantwant!!! Okay, I do a VERY bad imitation of "patient" -- but I'm trying!

The little duckling has been dropped off with its new mama. No one told me ducklings were so stinking cute.

Sah, I hope your little one is feeling better really soon. It's amazing how quickly kids bounce back from feeling bad.

madamwlf, I was almost completely done in seeing BM6's brood last month! I am so totally NOT set up for ducks and still came home and immediately started plotting how I could make it work...

ENABLER! ENABLER!!!

Maybe I should say "temptress"...

Nope, I'm gonna be good till I've got all the chickens currently in hand/hatching/getting picked up settled into their permanent digs, then see where I'm at :-) THEN I can think about some ducks, maybe!

quack quack quack.................. you think ducklings are cute, you would melt if you got to chat with hold and be nose kissed by a gosling who thinks you are the bestest mom in the whole world. (yep cause goslings far out rank ducks in personality)

ok......off to bed, we have a 5:00 am start tomorrow and hopefully will get some framing done

Ducks and geese are so cute, until you have a brooder in your living room, because the chicken house, garage, and basement are all cold and drafty. I cleaned the entire brooder TWO days ago, and it STINKS!

Dr said it is cellutitis, he is getting two shots and prescription for antibiotics. Costly, but necessary.
