Yes. Do not use any of the plain blues in your breeding. Only breed Columbians or leaky Columbians. As you get more birds, remove the leaky ones from the flock. You can identify the leaky ones by the fact that the blue will not only stay in the hackles and tail, but will leak onto the back and possibly wings and other areas as well.
So the 2 white ones are useless?

No!!! Those are the ones you want!!! As they grow up, they should be the ones to have the Columbian patterning...

Sorry about the confusion!!!

It's kind of like Light and Coronation Sussex chicks. They start out all white and then get the Columbian patterning as they grow. The others MIGHT be the leaky Columbian pattern that I was talking about.

Yes. They will either be leaky or pure blue. You'll have to wait for them to grow up more and feathers to fill out before you know for sure. (see above comment)
Okay that makes sense. So I can only hope the 2 yellows are a pair. I'm rather dumbfounded that Jenny didn't know any of this though it's from their birds.

If they're not a pair, take the blue that looks most Columbian and breed it to the true Columbian. You can slowly work the Columbian pattern into them. Thankfully, it is incomplete dominant, which means you can tell how many copies they carry. If they carry 2 copies, they will be all white except for the hackles and tail. If they have only 1 copy of the gene, the blue spreads through the white on their bodies. If they don't have any copies of the Columbian gene, they will only be blue. Unfortunately, if you have to breed a true blue to the Columbians, that also means you might end up with some pure blue chicks which do not have any Columbian patterning. If that is the case, just cull those out of the program. Again, as your numbers grow, you'll be able to remove more and more of the leaky ones or pure blue ones from your pen and work toward the goal of only Columbians.
