what is your weather and temps today?
it was snowing when I came in to work...big fat flakes the size of quarters, so big flakes = short lived. but still.

It'll warm up a bit and we will have cold rain.

poor chickens and goats...I'd hate to have to live outside in this. I am so glad for central heating!!!!

It was warm yesterday, but today bleck.

It's a whole 12 degrees right now with a high of 16 and a low of neg 2 tonight. Tomorrows low will be neg 13.

I hate winter.

It makes my pain so much worse. I needs me a good ole fashion turkey hug. Doesn't take away the pain, but sure is nice.

Betta I'm sending this nastiness on your way, sorry. At least it's not being shipped with the eggs this time.

Last snow we got was those huge almost snowball sized flakes. We ended up with 9 inches if I remember correctly. I hope yours moves on quickly.

Our coops stay pretty warm inside. I don't heat really. The lights are fluorescent, but the chickens seem warm enough. If they didn't my hubby might come home to a real house full.

When we built the house he had them make the back door extra wide. He thought if the weather got too cold he was going to bring the horses into the basement. Babies yes, broody chicken or turkey yes, injured of any bird yes, but there is no way he's putting three 1000+ horses in my basement. That's what the 30x40 shed is for. But then he would have to put his precious tractor outside. Sometimes he makes absolutely no sence.

nope it grows very well. You can do the same thing buy adding some of the braggs or any other brand with mother to plain acv or cider works too

This is what I do. I buy the gallon jug from Walmart, and the bottle of stuff with the mother in it. Then I pour enough out of the gallon to add the bottle of the mother acv in and let it sit. It gets nice and cloudy after a week or two and it is way cheaper.
