the point of the matter is, if all you want is SQ birds then say so. Dont wait till eggs start hatching an then pm ranting about how bad the chicks are and threaten not to make good on the deal.

Is this someone on this swap? Wow, what a way to deal with things.the point of the matter is, if all you want is SQ birds then say so. Dont wait till eggs start hatching an then pm ranting about how bad the chicks are and threaten not to make good on the deal.
But of course that means it will have to be replaced with a new breed.I've used Ideal a lot, and had no problems with them until my most recent order. I've tried other hatcheries and didn't like any of them yet. But this time I ordered three breeds, and lost half of one breed over several days. I'm thinking it was the breed, or the source for that breed. I had Buff Orps, Rose Combed Brown Leghorns, and Dark Brahmas. The Orps and Leghorns have done well. Had to pull one of each in for poopy butt patrol. But the Brahmas just died, and I've had several at a time in for poopy butt patrol. This is my second shot at Brahmas. (other time was eggs, not chicks) I'll give them one more chance on some eggs someone is getting for me next month but if they don't do well, then Brahmas and I will part ways. They may just not be for me, although I love them. But I have enough breeds started and coming to keep me busy for some time to come, so an excuse to delete one from the list would make my hubby happy!

Yes it is but they will remain nameless for the time beingIs this someone on this swap? Wow, what a way to deal with things.
Well, let me know if they don't make good on their end.Yes it is but they will remain nameless for the time being![]()
you got itWell, let me know if they don't make good on their end.
I'm working on getting permanent breeding pens. If I get rid of one breed without replacing it, it will ...ummmm...show good faith! Yeah, that's it! At any rate, I know my hubby. He'll build for me faster, and bigger!, if I actually show signs of cutting back somewhat. But of course that means it will have to be replaced with a new breed.I've used Ideal a lot, and had no problems with them until my most recent order.
