Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Buttons are cool in their own right. There's just something about collecting the tiny eggs.
But they are so panicky. I have already had to chase down and catch escapees three times that have flown straight up out of the brooder. LOL You should see me chasing these panicky LITTLE creatures all over the nook in my den trying to catch them before one of the cats decides that is small enough it counts as a mouse. They don't bother the chicks, but these seem like a good feathered snack.

these were the only two out of 12 eggs sent to our sons school. So now I have them, they look like twins and sing so pretty when I am feeding the goslings in the brooder stalls

ll depends on what is around your area, however.
GAA! cat erased my post.

If you sell birds, there is a huge market for buttons. If people around you have cages or parrots, they can pay for your chicken feed.

Also, try walking dogs at the local shelter instead of getting one! Gives you a dog fix and helps out.

That was longer and more eloquent with quotes before the cat rolled on the keybord.

are the coturnix good for anything besides eating...geez, I couldn't imagine cleaning enough of those to feed my family, and would take 20 eggs to make a decent omelette...
also are incubation methods the same as for chickens and the same time frame?
