But they are so panicky. I have already had to chase down and catch escapees three times that have flown straight up out of the brooder. LOL You should see me chasing these panicky LITTLE creatures all over the nook in my den trying to catch them before one of the cats decides that is small enough it counts as a mouse. They don't bother the chicks, but these seem like a good feathered snack.Buttons are cool in their own right. There's just something about collecting the tiny eggs.

That is a beautiful bird! The ones I have hatched are a very pastel blue/cream combo.
