I know,right? If I can get the hubby to go ti celtic's place, I hope she shows him all her cool birds and he gets me a couple!!! but I guess that would really be pushing my luck. I will be happy if he just goes and picks up my swap eggs at this point I think he might be considering it now that I told him how nicely they,d be packaged...

Quail depend on what you want them for. If you want to pay down your feed bill, go with buttons. If you want clean food for your table, go with coturnix. If you're crazy like me, get both. I'm still waiting on my buttons to come.

lol betta, I think I will just take all these back to the auction they came from
 
My old cat was very good with birds, but day old button quail are the perfect kitter popcorn, so keep them contained at least until they feather in well enough to be a little more work for the cat.
