Okay. I'm pretty sure I just found a video of the world's ugliest chicken breed.

Note their comb, face, and the size of their legs. These are not growths, but this is a normal part of the breed!

My 4 year old saw them and covered his eyes. He said "I don't wanna see that, it's ucky!"

I am trying to get 3 adult birds but they are in VirginiaThe person wants me to send the boxes to them and then I will just pay shipping when I pick up the birds at the post office. I do happen to have some pretty new boxes that I just got my new hens in, but what I am wondering which is cheaper, which is SAFER- three single boxes or one big swan box? Not sure I have a swan box though or even one big enough for all three.

It's too bad I don't think the farm that has my chickies is far from Herducks trip but I am WAAAAAAAY too far away and no one ever comes to Maine except those crazy Canadians he he

I am so sad. I don't know what happened, but one of my bators was unplugged and the eggs are cold. My house is 71 degrees. They were fine this morning and we haven't been home all day, so it could have been unplugged up to 12 hours. Maybe one of the cats pulled it out the wall? I have Cayugas, MFLs, Olandsk Dwarfs and BLRWs in there. The Cayugas and MFLs were supposed to go on LD next week. I don't see any movement in the eggs.
