I just set my first bourbon red turkey eggs this weekend- 24 of them! Any tips or advice? I want to free range them and keep them in a fenced area.
Clip their flight wings once they start to fly. They are really amazing fliers. I do both sides because I had a hen that only had one and she could still easily clear a 5-6' fence. Tey probably still can but they're happy and seems to be more effort than staying with their flock. Not everyone does but it works for us.
